Grizzlies win double header

Savannah hit the road Tuesday traveling to Gastonia, N.C to play a double header against the Gastonia Grizzlies.  Gastonia won both games of the double header, 3-2 and 5-4.
Game one:
In the third inning Savannah scored their first run when catcher Chris Bashlor(Lipscomb College) hit a home run.( his 1st of the season).
For the Bananas in the 4th inning, they scored their final run, L.J. Talley,1b(Georgia) walked and advanced to third on a double by John Cassala,DH(Jacksonville).  Talley scored on a pass ball.

Game two:
Savannah scored 3 runs in the 4th inning. With the bases loaded Talley walked and a run scored. Catcher Reagan Wright(Jacksonville University) doubled to drive in 2 runs.
The Bananas scored their final run in the 7th inning. Logan Mattix, (Georgia College) reached first base on a fielder's choice and advanced to to 3rd on  double by Cassala- Mattix scored on an error by the second baseman.

Cassala was 5-6, with 2 doubles, 1RBI, and a run scored.
